Short-Term Rental – Legislative changes

As Canada continues to face a housing crisis, all levels of government have been working to increase the supply of available housing in an effort to reduce housing costs incurred by Canadians. In this article we outline some new legislative changes introduced by the Federal government, and outline how this may impact you if you own property that is rented as a short-term rental (Eg. AirBNB / VRBO).
