CPA BC carries out its primary mission to protect the public by enforcing the highest professional and ethical standards and contributing to the advancement of public policy.

The Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPA BC) is the only regulated professional accounting body in the province of British Columbia. With over 36,000 CPA members, CPA BC is responsible for the regulation and professional development of CPAs, as well as the training and certification of CPA candidates. Protection of the public interest is the cornerstone of its mandate.
CPA members are part of a national profession, and CPA Canada is one of the world’s largest accounting bodies. With more than 210,000 members across the country and around the world, CPA Canada carries a strong influential voice and is globally recognized and respected.
